Greek-Cypriot singer, songwriter, and composer Alkinoos Ioannidis comes to Columbia’s Manhattanville campus for a unique solo improvisation at the Forum. A modern troubadour who blends classical, Byzantine, and rock music with the traditional music of the Mediterranean, Ioannidis performs songs in their simplest form, letting the audience and the moment take the lead in performances that turn into almost mystical experiences.
