Toronto International Film Festival

Maryam Tafakory and Kamal Aljafari will participate in the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), taking place from September 10 to 20. Tafakory’s Ghazal-e Sorkh and Aljafari’s Masao Adachi Takes a Passport Photo have been selected for the festival’s Wavelengths programme, where both films will have their world premieres.
