The Poet Translator

Yasmine Seale will take part in a discussion with Haleh Liza Gafori and John Murillo at the 2026 Brooklyn Book Festival. They will be talking about the relationship between poetry and translation, between the poet and their language, and how that changes or adapts for poets who work in multiple languages. The discussion will be moderated by Ricardo Alberto Maldonado.
