Tash Aw and Dina Nayeri’s works are nominated for 40th Annual L.A. Times Book Prize

Tash Aw and Dina Nayeri have both been named finalists for the L.A. Times Book Prize.

This prize celebrates work in 12 categories: autobiographical prose; biography; current interest; fiction; first fiction; graphic novel/comics; history; mystery/thriller; poetry; science fiction; science and technology and young-adult literature. Tash Aw has been nominated for We, The Survivors in the fiction category, while Dina Nayeri’s The Ungrateful Refugee is a finalist for the current interest prize.

The winners will be revealed on April 17th, just before the opening of the L.A. Times Festival of Books, Stories and Ideas.
