Retrospective at Museo Nazionale del Cinema

Kamal Aljafari will be the focus of a retrospective at Cinema Massimo, the screening venue of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Turin, from April 22 to 25. The program brings together a wide selection of his films, including Visit Iraq (2003), The Roof (2006), Balconies (2007), Port of Memory (2009), Recollection (2015), It’s a Long Way from Amphioxus (2019), An Unusual Summer (2020), Paradiso, XXXI, 108 (2022), UNDR (2024), A Fidai Film (2024), and With Hasan in Gaza (2025).

All screenings will be introduced by the filmmaker, with a special in-depth conversation scheduled on April 23 at 6 pm.
