President of the Jury for the Semaine de la Critique Cannes

Payal Kapadia has been appointed President of the Jury for the 65th edition of the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival, which will take place in Cannes from May 13 to 21.

As Jury President, she will lead an international panel awarding prizes to a new generation of filmmakers, continuing the section’s commitment to bold and innovative cinema. She will be joined by Québécois actor Théodore Pellerin, singer-songwriter Oklou, Ghanaian-British producer Ama Ampadu, and journalist and Bangkok World Film Festival director Donsaron Kovitvanitcha.
