Premio Gabo 2024

Fabiola Ferrero has been shortlisted for the Premio Gabo 2024 for Rastros de una promesa (Traces of a Promise), a photographic series that portrays the decline of progress and memory in various areas of Venezuela from migration, universities, research centers and the oil perspective.

“Established in 2013, the Premio Gabo continues, with its eleventh version, a path begun with the nine editions of the New Journalism Prize (2002-2010) that Gabriel García Márquez himself used to present in Monterrey, Mexico.”
