Memory & Belonging

Eduardo Halfon will be in conversation at Kings Place, in London, on March 1, 2026 as part of an event organized by the Jewish Literary Foundation.

In Latin American Journeys: Memory & Belonging, Halfon joins writer Jordan Salama and translator Daniel Hahn to discuss family history, migration and identity across generations. Drawing on his book Tarántula, Halfon reflects on the afterlives of the Holocaust in Guatemala and the ways literature engages with memory and displacement.
