Ice Merchants Screening

João Gonzalez’s animated short film Ice Merchants (2022) will be screened on March 7, at the Mitaka City Arts Centre in Tokyo, as part of the Mitaka Animation Festival organised by the Ghibli Museum.

The screening follows the film’s Grand Prize at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2024. With more than 420 festival selections and over 150 awards worldwide, Ice Merchants has become the most awarded Portuguese film to date.
