Gerrit Rietveld: Wealth of Sobriety

Barry Bergdoll has co-curated the exhibition Gerrit Rietveld: Wealth of Sobriety, on view from May 7 to September 2 at the Center for Architecture in New York. The exhibition explores the work of Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld through a selection of photographs by Arjan Bronkhorst, highlighting his lesser-known houses and his minimalist approach to design grounded in functionality and a “wealth of sobriety.”
