Hanna Liubakova spoke at the National Assembly of France during For Democratic Belarus, an event organized by the Alliance of Parliamentary Groups for Democratic Belarus on October 6, 2025.

“A core focus was the vital role of independent media as a pillar of resistance in Belarus. Despite severe censorship, internet blockades, and repression, independent media reaches people inside the country from exile and underground. This journalism sustains public awareness, counters Lukashenka’s and Russia’s propaganda, and amplifies the voices of those resisting oppression.”
