Colonization and Resistance

Yala Kisukidi will take part in the Critical Thinking for Adolescents series at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona for a talk titled Colonization and Resistance: Seeing the World from the Viewpoint of Africa and the Diasporas on February 18 at 12 pm.

“An expert in contemporary French and African thought, Kisukidi researches and defends African philosophies, a body of intellectual practices —produced on the continent and in the diasporas— that share a concern for the denial of the human, for racism, colonization and slavery, and that study forms of resistance and self-affirmation.”
