Circles and Storytellers
Bouchra Khalili will present Circles and Storytellers, her first public UK solo exhibition, at The Mosaic Rooms from 18 February to 14 June 2026. The exhibition brings together The Circle Project (2023) and The Public Storyteller (2024), concluding her decade-long research into the Mouvement des Travailleurs Arabes and its theatre groups, exploring storytelling, intergenerational memory, and alternative forms of civic belonging.
On 18 February, Khalili will also introduce a screening of Ali in Wonderland (1976) at the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, which will be followed by a Q&A with her. The event revisits a landmark work of immigrant cinema in France, resonating closely with the historical and political questions raised in her exhibition.
