Tash Aw’s latest column in The Paris Review

The latest edition of Tash Aw's column "Freeze Frame" in The Paris Review discusses the Orked trilogy by the late Malaysian filmmaker Yasmin Ahmad.

“Wrapped in the framework of a comic teen melodrama is a constantly unsettling examination of race and class distinctions in Malaysia.
