Deborah Levy writes a postcard from Paris

In an article recently published in the New Statesmen, Affiliate Fellow Deborah Levy shares her experience of living in Paris last year as a resident of the Institute. She writes both about her past notions of what she thought life would be like here—timeless, classic, artistic City of Lights, as well as contemporary issues such as the Gilets Jaunes and Notre-Dame fire.
