A screening of Like Dolls, I’ll Rise (2018) by filmmaker and Institute Fellow Nora Philippe will mark the end of a day-long conference on January 28th at the Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme entitled L’art et le musée face à la question (dé)coloniale organized by Mondes caraïbes et transatlantiques en mouvement (MCTM).
The evening will also feature a performance of Black Memories on White Bones, part of the “Arts et Sciences” project from the Université de Bordeaux, by Brazilian choreographer Ricardo de Paula.
The screening will take place at, and was organized with the participation of, Columbia Global Centers | Paris.
