Nusantara and Beyond

Hannah Reyes Morales and Ian Teh
Reid Hall | 4, rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris
Free and open to the public

Hannah Reyes Morales and Ian Teh will present their work, from Rodrigo Duterte’s bloody ‘War on Drugs’ in the Philippines to images that seek to give voice to the survivors of brutal acts of violence in a small town north of Manila during World War II, to the arid and distressed landscapes of China’s Yellow River and the threatened rainforests surrounding the growing urban sprawl of Kuala Lumpur. Their stories explore themes of resilience and community, unsustainable development in the era of climate change, identity and disinformation.
