Nuit de l’Imagination: Le goûter

Reid Hall | 4, rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris
Free and open to the public

This event will be held in English and French.

This event has separate tickets for the first and second parts. If you would also like to attend the second part, please sign up here.

At l’heure du gouter, or “snack-time,” the Nuit de l’Imagination begins early for children, with activities on the theme of climate. After 18h00, the Nuit will continue with programming for a general audience and the childrens’ activities will cease.

Along with childrens’ snacks, the activities from 16h30 to 18h00 will include: Mancala board games from around the world, creative workshops to make seed balls (plant them at home!) and weave colorful tawashi (Japanese scrubbing brushes), a micro marionette theater with nature-themed stories, card games on biodiversity and bioluminescence (Académie du Climat, Glowee), readings from nature-themed storybooks, with children’s books for sale.

The Nuit de l’Imagination is dedicated to climate-change awareness and exploring innovative solutions to reduce our individual and collective carbon footprints. The evening will include workshops, films, exhibits, conversations, and performances, each designed to highlight how we can reassess our daily habits and the lasting effects they may have on the world. Register for the second part here.
