About the Speakers:

Trained as a lawyer, Justine Henochsberg worked for five years at the Cinémathèque Française as an administrator (Cinémathèque de la Danse), where she produced several events and documentaries. She was then responsible for the development of a new concept of film clubs for children, La Lanterne Magique, for the group of independent cinemas Etoile Cinémas.

After journalism school (L’École Supérieure de Journalisme) and obtaining an advanced degree in “Cinema and Anthroplogy,” Julie Guesnon Amarante was production manager and then executive producer at La Génerale de la Production. During her eight year tenure, she worked on documentary productions for French TV (Arte, France Télévisions, LCP, Planète, TV5), international TV, and cinema.

Justine Henochsberg and Julie Guesnon Amarante co-founded Les Batèlieres Productions in 2013. A film and audiovisual production company, Les Batelières Productions has an editorial line that is built around social, political, and cultural projects as well as projects for young audiences.
